Road Closure: Cargate Lane

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to urgent Hedge Trimming for safety reasons due to school busses being unable to access the route the use by vehicles of the C187 Cargate Lane from its junction with A140 Ipswich Road to its junction with C201 Norwich Road in the PARISH OF SAXLINGHAM NETHERGATE will be temporarily prohibited from 4th October 2018 to 5th October 2018 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 2 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 5 days.

Alternative route is via: A140 Ipswich Road, C192 Stoke Lane, C192 Mill Road, C201 Norwich Road (Shotesham/ Newton Flotman/ Saxlingham Nethergate/ Stoke Holy Cross/ Swainsthorpe).

In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
