Road Closure - West End

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the U78145 West End from a point 24 metres east of its junction with A140 Ipswich Road for a distance of 44 metres eastwards in the PARISH OF SAXLINGHAM NETHERGATE because of UKPN works for tree cutting around overhead power lines.

The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) between 08:30 and 16:00 hours on 27th January 2020 for the duration of the works, expected to be 7 ½ hours within the period.

Alternative route is via: West End, A140 Ipswich Road, Cargate Lane, Elmers Lane, Long Lane, Windy Lane, Foxhole.

(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.

In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
